Chris is a respected videographer based in Hampshire, specialising in cinematic videography. His hard work and passion for his art has seen him rocket from being a student to being one of the most popular videographers in Hampshire in no time at all. Chris’ work now sees him filming for the likes of Sodexo, Interserve, Red Funnel and many more.
Videography is about telling a story through moving image, whether it be capturing the intense emotions at a wedding, or the vibe of a restaurant, or the passion of a business owner, the combination of shots, sound effects, music and attitude needs to come together to create something that evokes conversation, engages and entertains. Having started in fiction films, I sprinkle all of my work with a cinematic edge, which gives it a feel that makes my videos unique and special.
I’m inspired by the USA, where wedding videography is one of the biggest priorities for couples getting married, and so the quality of videographers is incredible. From watching and learning through American wedding videography, I have created a style that looks cinematic, slick and that couples love, whilst staying discrete on the day and still taking a very natural approach. This is said a lot, but for me it is really about getting to know the couple before, during and after the wedding day, so I can capture the parts of the day that really matter to you, find music thats going to match the mood of your day, and produce a video that you’ll look back on proudly for the rest of your life.
